SUBMITTED by Larry Ann Evans, Museum of Wayne County History Executive Director (24-Sep-2009)

The Wayne County Historical Society will be throwing a Card Party at the Museum of Wayne County History 9 October 2009 at 1900 (7 pm).

Many card games will be available like, bridge, euchre, and even poker games with tables set up all throughout the Museum. The Museum’s own deck of cards, the Wayne County pack of playing cards will also be available to play with. There will be a silent auction of great gifts to bid on as well. Admission is $10 per person which will help out with general fundraising and a new security system.

Keeping in line with the exhibit “Legend and Haunts of Wayne County”, there will be an unusual twist to the normal card party--there will be one or two Tarot tables set up with Readings by Diana.

“I thought, maybe if those who come get a tarot card reading first, they could ask if winning was in the cards for the night!” said Executive Director of the Museum of Wayne County History, Larry Ann Evans.
