I don’t usually hope for ice cold weather, but Curling on the Canal is coming up this month in Palmyra. And just why should we get excited about curling? William Unterborn will be at Village Bookmarket, 207 East Main St., Palmyra, on Saturday, 20 February 2010 at 10 AM, to tell us why and to help us Warm Up To Curling.
Bill will share with us some history of curling, give us a Curling on the Canal preview, and a Curling at the Olympics preview, and tell us about the book "The Black Bonspiel of Willie MacCrimmon", by W. O. Mitchell, a little curling story.
