The Wayne County Historical Society Map Club will hold their March meeting at the Museum of Wayne County History. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, 23 March 2010 at 7pm.

At the last meeting Steve Paliotti brought in an 1822 Atlas and members enjoyed seeing how the canal was depicted as “The Grand Canal.” Edson Ennis also brought in an 1857 US/Mexico wall map.

The March meeting will be dedicated to touring the Wayne County Historian’s facilities. Space is limited, so please call the museum for details.

For more information about this event, call the Museum of Wayne County History at 315-946-4943 or look at the website, www.waynehistory.org. The Museum is located at 21 Butternut Street, Lyons NY.
