"Water Health; Wildlife Wealth"

The Montezuma Audubon Center will present its 4th Annual Wildlife Festival on Saturday, 1 May 2010 from 10 am to 3 pm. This is a family event that celebrates the abundance of healthy water in Wayne County and the wealth of wildlife that takes advantage of this resource. There will be live birds of prey (including "Liberty" the Bald Eagle), family musical entertainment by Mark Rust, guided hikes to see wetland birds and plants, hands-on exploration, and children’s activities (including Pond Life), Dan the Magician, a Garlic Mustard Pull contest, and of course some great food including BBQ, burgers and pies! The fee is $5 / carload with plenty of parking at the Savannah fire hall and a shuttle to the MAC.

The festival takes place at the Montezuma Audubon Center on Route 89, north of the Hamlet of Savannah. For additional information please call (315) 365-3588 or e-mail montezuma@audubon.org.
