The Sodus Rotary has partnered with other Wayne County Rotary Clubs to offer an evening of bluegrass music, 15 June 2010 at the Sodus High School in Sodus, NY.

Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike will be bringing their eclectic mix of bluegrass music to the auditorium theatre at the Sodus High School for this early summer concert. Smith and her amazing band are a breath of fresh air. Onstage, they present visually beautiful and exciting performances with exceptional musicality. Offstage, they are like family and best friends to everyone, always willing to share that which makes them so very special-their music, their hearts, and their souls.

The opening act will be Rebecca Colleen and the Chore Lads. Colleen, at just 15 years old sings with style, control and sensitivity far beyond her years. Whether its bluegrass, gospel, country or their originals, the band's three- part harmonies and solid rhythm stamps their personal style on songs from Bill Monroe to Sting, the Statler Brothers to the Rolling Stones. The Chore Lads feature Peter McDonald on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and vocals, and brother Patrick on vocals and bass.

VIP Meet & Greet at 5:00 pm. Tickets: $20 in Advance ~ $25 at the door

Advance Sale Tickets are available at Northern Wayne Auto, from Sodus Rotarians, or write to: the Sodus Rotary, PO Box 225, Sodus, New York 14551.

This bluegrass concert is sponsored by The Rotary Clubs of: Sodus, Clyde, Wolcott, Red Creek, and Lyons.
