On Saturday, 19 June 2010, the Strawberry Festival will be held in Northup Park in downtown Wolcott. Strawberries are of course the emphasis. There are delicious strawberry, vanilla and chocolate milkshakes, freshly picked strawberries in shortcakes, quarts of strawberries sold , quite a few craft booths, hots and hamburgers, with soda, a home baked goods table, music off and on all day by local groups, childrens' games for small prizes, and more.
The Wolcott Strawberry Festival is driven by the Wolcott Presbyterian Church and Huron Presbyterian Church. Head to Wolcott on Saturday, and enjoy this Wayne County festival!
