In addition to all the great summer produce hitting its stride during July, the Lyons Farmers' Market will feature bake sales, baby goats and other furry friends, as well as a youth performance.

During Peppermint Days festivities on July 10th, the Market will move from its usual location on Church Street to Pearl Street.

On July 17, kids from the summer "Curtain Call" program will perform song and dance numbers. The Eureka Grange will hold a bake sale that morning. Baby goats from Clover Meadow Creamery of Lyons will be our guests on July 24. Stop by this mini-petting zoo to make a friend. The Lyons Youth Camp grooup will be raising funds with their bake sale as well. On July 31, the Wayne County Humane Society will set up a booth to explain their services and Stephanie will bring along some adoptable pets to visit. The Lyons Methodists will offer their pies and other goodies at their bake sale, also.

Join us each Saturday morning from 7:30 to 11 a.m. by the Village Park to socialize, meet the growers and share in the family fun. Enjoy some fried dough and coffee while you shop. For more info, call Theresa at 946-9262 or Manager Jim Miller at 946-9577.
