A pizza taste off for teens will be held on Wed., July 21 at 7 p.m. at the Lyons Public Library in the Community Room. Teens will be able to sample cheese pizzas from local Lyons restaurants in a blind taste test and then they will be asked to vote for their favorite cheese, sauce, crust and overall pizza. The Library will then name Lyons’ Best Pizza Maker for each of the four categories. Results will be posted on the Library’s blog, Facebook page and in the library. A press release will also be sent out announcing the results. The winning restaurants will receive a Best Pizza (Cheese, Sauce, Crust) of Lyons Certificate.
