Paul Santelli
"No, we are not closed!", says Paul Santelli, owner of Trombino's by the Park.  "Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated", he laughs as he quotes Mark Twain.
Rumors of closing the well established restaurant have spread like wild fire through-out the community when the "for sale" sign appeared on the exterior of the stucco building.  However, just because the restaurant is for sale, does not mean that it is closed.

"The restaurant is entering into the heaviest time of the year. Why would we close?", questioned Mr. Santelli.  The winter time, when the boaters have put their boats away and summertime cottages have closed up, these routine patrons find their way back to fall-time pleasures of dinner and a movie.

Trombino's is open for dinner Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:00 til 8:30 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 5:00 til 9:00 p.m.

Santelli, who has owned the business since 1981, with his brother, Michael, claims that he and his brother have had the business for sale for the past several years.  However, this year became active in looking for a buyer when Michael fell ill and past last year; along with losing two other cooks last summer.

Trombino's by the Park, a well established, family owned and operated, fine dining restaurant, employs 15 staff members, two of whom have been with Santelli almost as long as he has owned the restaurant.  Julie Fitzgerald and Diane Shuler have become part of the restaurant's food familiarity and fantastic service.

Trombino's is well known for its Shrimp Scampi and Filet Mignon dinners along with their fresh breads and hand tossed salads.  Their delectable dinners are sure to tempt the palate topped off with delicious desserts and an after-dinner drink or coffee.
