SHARED SERVICES IN ACTION



Consolidation is the latest buzzword these days, but has been practiced in the Town of Arcadia and Village of Newark for years.

The most recent example of sharing of services and expertise is the temporary repair two weeks ago of North Main St., and Tuesday on Peirson Ave. by Town of Arcadia crews. Newark supplied the material and town crews used their road building expertise to patch and smooth out the two streets, scheduled for major rehab in the future.
