Amy Johnson, North Rose - Wolcott high school english teacher, has announced the 8th annual toy drive. The district toy drive honors the memory of Lynch-Johnson's friend, Marine LCPL Jarod Houghton, who was in killed in the line of duty during the summer of 2003. At the time of his death, family asked that donations be made to the Toys for Tots program and Lynch along with friends & colleagues from NRW have been contributing toys to needy local families in his name ever since.
All toy donations need to be collected by Wed., Dec. 15th and can be done so at many school locations. If you would like to contribute to this cause please contact Amy at alynchjohnson@nrwcs.org.
