The Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad Street, Lyons offers a free delivery service called "Books on Foot" for homebound residents in the village and town of Lyons. Whether someone is homebound due to an illness, injury, surgery or no longer able to drive, the Library has volunteers willing to deliver library materials to a person's home. Books, audio books, magazines can be delivered and loaned out for up to six weeks. DVDs cannot since they have a shorter loan period. Materials can be requested from other libraries if Lyons does not own a particular title. Deliveries are either done monthly or every two weeks if needed.

For more information about this service or to sign up for it, please call the Lyons Public Library at (315) 946-9262 or email lyonslibrary@owwl.org.
