Come joins us and see how Lennie Muscarella, a well-known local artist, goes about creating his
wonderfully expressive portraits. This will be a FREE demonstration! Don‟t miss this rare opportunity to see an artist at work!
Lennie says, “I paint because I can and it seems to be what I should be doing. My "style‟ is the
culmination of 500 years of oil painting blended through my head and out the end of a brush. Take something here; leave out something there and hopefully working my way into becoming me”.

Lennie Muscarella was born and raised in western New York. He was educated at St. Bonaventure University, SUNY Buffalo School of Dentistry and an internship in the US Navy. A twenty year member of the Rochester Art Club, Lennie has displayed his work in the club‟s shows, being award both juror‟s awards and Best in Shows. He has had one-man shows in Erie and Wayne counties, and exhibits individual works as a member of the Buffalo Society of Art. Through his membership in the Salmugundi Club in New York City, Lennie has had works on display with both the club and with The American Artists Professional League. He has recently been granted membership in both The Arts and Letters Club of Toronto and The Oil Painters of America. In addition, Lennie‟s work has been featured as an award winner in a national competition in American Artist, and in Rochester Council for the Arts publication, Metropolitan. This demonstration will be held on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Wayne County Council for the Arts. Reservations may be made by calling Wayne Arts at (315) 331-4593.

The art gallery, gift shop and studio of Wayne County Council for the Arts are located at 108 W. Miller Street, Newark. Gallery hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 1:00 – 4:00 pm and by appointment.
