The next program in the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society's 2011 Winter Lecture Series will be "Willow Avenue Cemetery and Potter's Field", by Barbara Meeks. It will be held this Saturday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m., at the Newark-Arcadia Museum, 120 High St.

Barbara is the president of the Ontario County Genealogical Society, and an active member of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society. Willow Avenue Cemetery is the original name of Newark Cemetery.

If you like cemeteries, you won't want to miss this one! Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. The museum will open at 1:00 p.m. For additional info, please call 315-331-6409.
