SUBMITTED by Kirk Baker, Williamson Central Schools' parent (27-May-2011)

If you love music, or want to support musicians and high-school students, the “Jazz in the Park” event from 5:00 - 7:30 PM in the Williamson Town Park on Friday, June 10 is sure to please. The Perry Plyter Trio will be playing their hot jazz sound, and the Williamson Jazz Ensemble will show the culmination of a year of preparation.

Admission is free, but donations to Project 2017 and Beyond – a fund to provide scholarships to every high school graduate starting in the year 2017 – are appreciated, and money will be raised through the sale of food and drinks. In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Williamson High School Gym. Please come, support musicians and students, and enjoy some great music!
