Finger Lakes IMPACT players have ties to the whole region, but many are connected to Wayne County. The adult minor league football team is enjoying a successful 4-0 season, outscoring opponents 172-25.

The Wayne County players say that they love playing the game and do so with passion. Newark grad defensive player Bryan Teed said he missed it for a few years when he was not playing. Relatively new player and quarterback Grant Oosterling states that it has been his "dream" to play. Lyons grad and defensive back Jason Webber plays "because of my grandfather." Dominick Anglin aka "Mississippi", but now of Marion, plays linebacker and thinks "football is everything."

All concur that outside of football they enjoy spending time with family and friends, and like other sports especially basketball. Running back Chris Kitchens currently of Clyde owns snakes. Grant Oosterling likes to ride his BMX bike. He has an associate's degree from MCC in culinary arts. Golf is one of Lyons grad Kyle Boughton's interests. He plays wide receiver. Another receiver who is also a kicker and Gananda grad is Colin Rivers. He recently nailed 10 of 10 extra points.

Lyons native Steve Klino plays offensive guard and defensive tackle. He says that what he loves about Finger Lakes is that IMPACT really does "promote a family atmosphere." His favorite saying by Coach Jeff Teed is: "No doubt in my mind." Steve has an associate's degree in sports and tourism studies.

BJ Scholler's degree is in electrical engineering. He plays defensive tackle and currently hails from Ontario. Mike Sevor has a degree in electronics and he is one of the elder players on the team. He graduated from Palmyra-Macedon and now resides with his family in Newark.

Other Wayne County players include Miguel Gonzalez and Jason Rago. Team Co-Owners Jeff and Penny Teed also live in Newark.

Home games on Saturdays July 9 and July 16 start at 7:00pm sharp at Tom Coughlin Stadium, Stark Street, Waterloo, New York. Come see some exciting football, enjoy delicious food, and meet the players from Wayne County and beyond.
