Notes from the Western Finger Lakes Authority Board 

The Western Finger Lakes Authority Board met for its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, August 15, 2011, at the Wayne County Courthouse, Lyons. The Board passed the following resolutions:

• Approved the June 27, 2011 Minutes;
• Authorized the Treasurer to make payments;
• Appointed Interim Administrator Marjorie Torelli as Records Access Officer;
• Accepted the high bid for the sale of 12 cardboard recycling containers from K & D Disposal;
• Ratified the actions of the Interim Administrator in connection with repairs to the Moseley Badger Baler following solicitation of quotes from qualified contractors. United Services CP, Inc. of Rochester was the successful bidder.
• Authorized the advertisement for bids for sale of the office trailer currently located at the Wayne County Materials Recovery Facility. Bids will be evaluated and awarded at the next meeting of the WFLA Board.
• Authorized the advertisement for bids for the sale of surplus equipment currently located at the Wayne County Materials Recovery Facility. Bids will be evaluated and awarded at the next meeting of the WFLA Board.
• Appointed William Woods of Lyons as Interim Recycling Coordinator.

The next meeting of the Western Finger Lakes Authority Board will be held at the Authority offices, 9 Pearl Street, Lyons, 2nd Floor on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. The public is always welcome.
