On September 7, Macedon Town and Village are celebrating Good Neighbor Day. This is a special time for all the businesses and residents of this community to take a minute and celebrate all the great people who live here. On this day each person who lives in this community is encouraged to go out of his/her way to say thank you to their neighbor—to knock on their door and say hello—maybe just to send along a cheerful smile. Many businesses are giving away special little gifts. Check with each store’s promotions for what they are doing. Our neighbors are very special people. They help each other and watch the community, keeping it safe. Many serve as volunteers for the various agencies that keep us safe. They can be counted on when times are rough. What a great day to celebrate them and thank them.
