John & Barb O'Brien began this very special unique shopping experience in the basement of their home over 10 years ago. The demand for their style of decor was much greater than anticipated, and they were forced to find a larger location to expand their business. When the old Country Warehouse in Pultneyville became available, they quickly jumped on it. After much remodeling and structural improvements, the Good Old Days Country Shop has grown to become one of the largest and most sought after shop of it's kind in Western NY.

Barb gives free consulting while in the shop and is available for home decorating consultations. John specializes in finding the very special and unique antiques found in the shop. His antique website, www.roosterrunantiques.com also shows some of their personal antiques found in their home as well as the shop. John also specializes in refurbishing antiques and building reproduction furniture, some of which can be found in the shop. Many of John's farm tables are scattered around Western NY.
