French Night at Books, ETC.

Oct 6 – French Night: On Thursday, October 6 at 7:00 PM, French Night at Books, ETC. Participants will immerse themselves in French. This is great opportunity for the native speakers as well as for novices. Anyone interested in using or bettering their knowledge of French is encouraged to come and enjoy the fun. Newark High School Drama Club presents All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten on Friday and Saturday October 7 and 8 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday October 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Newark High School auditorium.

The heartwarming play uses storytelling through monologues and short scenes to capture everyday experiences in touching ways. The cast worked with Newark school district Kindergartners to create the colorful backdrop.

Nine high school students are featured in the play; Katie Brinkman, Luke Cornwell, Missy DeHoff, Spencer Edmonds, Ashley Farley, Olivia Howard, McKenna Martin, Ryan Tracy, and Jack Venoski. Steve Duprey serves as the director.

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the door.
