“Bristol Mountain Bluegrass” performs the best of favorite old-time and traditional bluegrass tunes with an energy that matches the enthusiasm of their loyal audiences throughout Upstate New York and well beyond.  They interweave the history and styles of bluegrass and its roots into their show, creating a concert that’s both entertaining and informative and is just plain fun to watch.  Bristol Mountain Bluegrass has been warmly received by audiences and festival promoters for their ability to "round out" a program by presenting an informed, lively, and musically exciting introduction to "the roots of acoustic music."

Bristol Mountain Bluegrass performs with lots of energy and intensity, their end goal being to provide an entertaining and educational experience tailored to each particular festival or audience.

Bristol Mountain Bluegrass has worked together for thirty years as entertainers in traditional music. They've been featured on the Nashville Network, on PBS, on local and national radio. They've played colleges and festivals all over the country.

Weather permitting, the concert will be held outside.  For your comfort, be sure to bring lawn chairs.  No rain date needed as we will move indoors in inclement weather.

This concert will be held at Wayne Arts on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Come and enjoy a Spring Concert sponsored by the Robert G. Boehmler Foundation.

Wayne Art Gallery hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 12:00 to 3:00 pm and by appointment.  Visit our exciting exhibits and stop by our great Gallery Gift Store.  Gift certificates are available for classes and gift store items.  Wayne County Council for the Arts is located at 108 W.
