The Wayne County Historical Society’s Museum of Wayne County History will be holding the Jailbird Antique Festival Saturday May 12. Capitalizing on the great success of the Holiday Boutique they have created a similar event for the spring only instead of filling the Museum with crafters, there will be antique dealers. Also onsite from 10am-1pm will be Antique Appraiser, P.Price Prazar. Visitors to the Jailbird Antique Festival may bring up to 5 items to be appraised for $5 per item, (no rugs please). A portion of the proceeds for the appraisals will be donated to the Wayne County Historical Society.

Some of the dealers on site will be Bob and Cathy Martin with antique tools, Bruce Viertel bringing country primtives, Debra Miller with eclectic antiques, Marsha Fuller with vintage clothing, jewelry and furniture, Chris Davis with glass and bottles, Edson Ennis with paper products, Dean George with a variety of antiques, Joanne Jeffes with vintage clothing, Isabel Gadjo with primitive and ironstone, Shirley Lockwood-Kushall with a variety of antiques, collectibles and caned furniture, and Bill Gavitt with furniture. Lunch will also be available from 11-2pm and desserts and coffee all day long. Admission to the Jailbird Antique Festival is free and is from 9-5pm Saturday May 12 at the Museum of Wayne County History.

For more information about these events, call the Museum of Wayne County History at 315-946-4943 or look at the website, www.waynehistory.org The Museum is located at 21 Butternut Street, Lyons NY.
