The Canaltown Chorale has announced the dates of its annual Christmas concerts.
A Christmas Celebration, will feature selections of Christmas music from classical to modern day. The Chorale will be under the direction of Mr. Jerry Hefley. Ms. Kay Oosterling will accompany on piano.
The Walworth Council of Churches is sponsoring the first performance. This concert will be on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 PM in the United Methodist Church, 3679 Main Street in Walworth. The Walworth Council of Churches will be accepting a freewill offering.
A second performance will be on Sunday, Dec.9 at 4:00 PM in the Palmyra First United Methodist Church located on the corners of Church and Main Streets in Palmyra. A suggested donation of $5.00 per person will be accepted at the door at the Palmyra concert.
These concerts are made possible in part with public funds from the New York State Council of the Arts Decentralization program, which is administered locally by Phelps Arts Center.
