Oswego, NY; Nov. 28, 2012 -- New York Sea Grant has relocated into new office space at Penfield Room 4 at the State University of New York at Oswego.

New York Sea Grant (NYSG) is a cooperative program of Cornell University and the State University of New York with six offices statewide. New York Sea Grant's Great Lakes Extension is headquartered at Cornell University in Ithaca and also has an office at the University at Buffalo.

NYSG Great Lakes staff at the Oswego office are Recreation and Tourism Specialist Dave White, Fisheries Specialist David MacNeill, Coastal Community Development Specialist Mary Penney, and Office Manager Sharon Mullen. NYSG Coastal Education Specialist Helen Domske is based in Buffalo.

NYSG has Marine District offices in Stony Brook, Kingston, and Riverhead, NY.

NYSG is one of 33 university-based programs under the National Sea Grant College Program of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This network includes a National Sea Grant Law Center and National Sea Grant Library. Through its statewide network of integrated services, NYSG has been promoting coastal vitality, environmental sustainability, and citizen awareness about the State's Great Lakes and marine resources since 1971.
