April 28 – Julie Blue and Gretchen Schulz: On Sunday, April 28 at 4:00 PM, Julie Blue and Gretchen Schulz will read their poetry at Books, ETC. Julie Blue is a local writer, poet and blogger. She will read prose poetry and selected chapters from her novel in progress, Stories from 28 Blackberry Lane. Julie's poetry is sometimes dark and angry, but always heartfelt, honest, and impulsive, and is slowly becoming infiltrated by motherhood and Mother Nature. Gretchen Schulz is a visual artist trained professionally to paint, photograph and design. Her poetry is an extension of her early formative years as a visual artist. She has lived in the Rochester area for nearly 29 years. Her poetry is a walk through her life and the feelings surrounding it. This event is free and open to the public. Meet at Books, ETC. 78 W.
