Rosalie Gabbert has published Mr. Bee Man, a children's picture book biography about Lorenzo Lorraine Langstroth who discovered "bee space" in 1852, and is known as the Father of American beekeeping. Lorenzo's childhood curiosity about ants, flies, cicadas, wasps, mice and more, later led to his fascination with honey. Lorenzo's discovery of five sixteenths of an inch, and his invention of the Langstroth hive revolutionized beekeeping. This program is free and open to the public at Books, ETC., 78 W.
