The Towpath Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps of Macedon is finishing up its 36th season. This past weekend 12 members of the Honor Guard were honored to participate in the "Warriors Day" parade in Toronto, Canada. The corps' final parades include the Rochester Labor Day Parade on August 29th, the Scottish Festival in Dundee on September 6th , and Canaltown Days Parade in Palmyra on September 13th.
Plans are well underway for the "2015 World Fife and Drum Friendship Festival" which will take place in Macedon and Palmyra in September of next year. The festival will feature the Towpath Volunteers along with corps from France, Italy and Belgium. To stay up to date on events, check out the website: www.towpathvolunteers.org/festival
