Huge!!! ah. Maria Fruci came to Newark from Sicily in 1956, but never abandoned the simple joys of gardening. Her backyard plot on Blue Cut Road in the village features several kinds of fruits and vegetables, including wax beans, grapes, and killer zucchinis.
Mrs. Fruci's zucchini could be featured on Billy Fuccillo's car commercials, as they are HUGE-A! She has grown several, using no special fertilizer.
The largest in her garden 62 inches and others are 46 and 52 inches long.

According to answers inc. the world record is 69 and a half inches in length, and the record weight is 65 pounds.
