Thoroughly Modern Millie follows Alyssa Wlodarczyk as Millie
Dillmount, a young girl from Kansas who heads to New York City in 1922 to start
a new life filled with intrigue, jazz and a whole new set of rules for love!
Millie’s new flapper life-style leads to
a series of mishaps; falling in love with her boss, Trevor Graydon, (Travis
Anstee), landing in jail with her new best friend Dorothy Brown, (Michaela
Shaffer) and scrubbing dishes in the kitchen of Café Society with Jimmy Smith (Odin
Patanzo) where the headliner, Jazz
great, Muzzy van Hossmere (Jordan Hill)
is singing,… all stemming from the Hotell Priscilla and its Dragon-Lady
Villainess Mrs. Meers ( Kelsey Arliss) and her two henchman Ching Ho and Bun
Foo (Ethan Salerno, Seth Nesbitt).
You won’t want to miss this tap dancing, flap flapping, hair
bobbin’ good time!
Tickets are available at the Earl Buchanan Auditorium; Lyons High School box office; March 9-12th
6:30PM-8PM, March 14th 9-11AM, March 16th-19th
6:30-8:30PM. Reserved seats are all
$8.00, General admission and Senior/Student prices are $6 and $5 respectively.
All tickets are $1 more at the door.
