Don’t miss this unique Wayne County bike ride, hosted by Trail Works. The 9-mile loop begins in the parking lot on the east side of the Social Services Building at Water St. and Broad Street in Lyons. The route takes you past four cobblestone houses and the three stages of the Erie Canal: (1) the original Clinton’s Ditch, (2) the Enlarged Erie, and (3) the Barge Canal.
The 9-mile loop, which starts at 1 PM, can be enhanced with another 6-miles on the Canal. Those wishing to only do the 6-mile route, should meet at the same parking lot for a 2:30 departure. Helmets are required.
