NEWARK - The Park Presbyterian Church Mission Team is planning a trip to Mexico from February 16th to 25th, 2016.
The group will arrive in Cancun, rent vans, and travel to the Spanish colonial city of Vallodolid for two days of tourism, including a visit to Chichen Itza and Casa de los Venados. On Thursday they will drive south to Bacalar, where they will engage in mission and humanitarian work with churches in Limones and Cedralito, and Rotarians in Chetumal. Work is expected to include partnering in evangelism, light construction, exploring the possibility of Living Waters for the World installations, and shared Rotary projects.
The group is seeking a Spanish speaker as a participant, and has space for up to four travelers. Price of the trip is approximately $1,200. Please contact the church before Friday, November 6th, if you have interest. (315) 331-2255 or parkchurch110@gmail.com.
