The Lyons Middle/ High School, in association with The Lyons Community Players, is thrilled to present

Disney’s The Little Mermaid! As the first upstate New York High School chosen to perform the full-length Broadway Musical version of this classic Disney tale, Lyons, under the direction of Mark Wlodarczyk and Danielle Ellis-Teeple, guarantee an evening of pure Disney MAGIC!

Leading the cast as Ariel, is Alyssa Wlodarczyk, NYSSMA All-State vocalist and member of All-Eastern and National Choir. As her oddly endearing nemesis, Ursula, is RBTL Stars of Tomorrow Best Actress and International Honor Choir vocalist Michaela Shaffer. Both girls, with their obvious vocal talent, embrace the roles with ease, expertize and natural savoir faire.

With Jordan Hill as Sebastienne, Ariel’s spunky guardian; Travis Anstee as Scuttle, the human loving seagull and Odin Patanzo as King Triton, Ariel’s father, the twists and turns that bring Ariel to the surface provide an energetic and entertaining journey towards her true love, Prince Eric, played by Ethan Salerno.

effects will be presented March 10, 11 and 12 at 7:00pm and March 13 at 2:00pm in the Earl Buchanon Auditorium at the Lyons Middle High School. The Thursday evening performance will be a special needs friendly, offering alternate lighting, the ability to move around if necessary and ASL interpretation.
