Jun 25 -- Graig Szury: On Saturday, June 25 at 3:00 PM, Graig Szury at Books, ETC. There will be a Life Writing and Poetry Workshop led by experienced educator, Craig Czury. Graig uses a variety of writing prompts from the writings of international poets to elicit from students memories of their lives. He assists them in crafting these writings into poignant "snapshots" and encourages them to continue to utilize these techniques in their own writing in the future. Poetry Reading and Book Signing to follow: An intimate reading of the works of Craig Czury from his docu-poems crafted from the collected voices of people in Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale drilling region, documented in his new book, "Thumb Notes Almanac: Hitchhiking the Marcellus Shale."
