Newark- When Jennifer Habecker was given a tour of Laurel House recently, she knew that she wanted to be part of the comfort care home’s future. Habecker was one of several applicants for the position of Director and eventually was chosen to guide Laurel House.
Jennifer has a background in finance, marketing and healthcare and was general manager of an in- home senior care agency.
April 9, 2018 was her first day on the job as finishing touches were being carried out on the construction phase of the main floor. “This is an amazing building” said Habecker who added that Wayne County was in need
of another Comfort Care home. She plans to collaborate with other successful facilities of this type and work to establish local community outreach, and grow the important fundraising efforts.
Jennifer Habecker, who hails from Palmyra, stressed that “a great group of people who are working hard to make Laurel House a reality. I am proud to be joining them.”
Laurel House Comfort Care Home is located at 224 Fair Street, Newark, off Driving Park Avenue.
