This brings memories dating back the 1950's when I was a girl scout. The G S leader would have us carry a bag lunch with us as we walked from North Rose down to Glenmark Creek. A car usually went on ahead with heavy "stuff". When we go there we would walk and play along the banks, have a picnic and then walk back. It was beautiful then and as it is now. Sharon Rice

I remember going their in the spring years ago in the middle of the night. I helped a friend net these little silver fish which would swarm by in schools turning the water silver.(can not recall their name?smelt maybe?)We later breaded and ate them.
