Wayne County's shire town of Lyons, New York held its first-ever lights parade on Saturday, 5 December 2009 to help kick off the holiday season. The event was part of the month-long Peppermint Winter Wonderland celebration put into motion by the ever-active Lyons Main Street Program. The LMSP and its partners are working hard to promote Lyons as a year-round attraction.
