With a touch of mystery and a dash of comedy, Long Acre Farms and JD Wine Cellars has joined together with The Mystery Company to host a thrilling dinner on Saturday, July 24 at 6 p.m. in the Red Barn.

The Mystery Company has provided excitement and adventure for events in Rochester and parts of Upstate New York for over 20 years. With its cast of professional and experienced actors, the group promises a night of fun-filled mystery for every audience. Whether it’s a Western train robbery or a murder set in the 1930s, the cast prides itself on encouraging audiences to expect the unexpected.
“Our hilarious interactive performances combine the fun and excitement of a ‘who-done-it’ with a quality theatrical experience. It will be your job to solve the crime,” explained the company’s Creative Director, Debbie Lestz Teahan.
On Saturday, the cast will perform an island adventure scenario. Skipper, Gilligan and some of their friends decide to participate on an Island Survivor game show. But, it can’t all be fun and games – the crew will need to outwit their competition in order to survive. Murder just may play a part in this humorous plot, transporting guests from the farm and into the middle of a murder investigation and all the drama that ensues on the island.

Cocktail hour will begin at 6 p.m. in the barn. A glass of JD Wine Cellar wine will be served, along with hors d’oeuvres and the chance to meet and mingle with the cast of The Mystery Company. A cash bar will also be available with an all you can eat buffet, featuring Long Acre Farm’s signature pulled pork, grilled chicken and other barbeque favorites.

To make a reservation and secure your spot for a night filled with mystery and comedy, please call directly at 315-986-4202, or e-mail Mary Beth at marybeth@longacrefarms.com. Don’t miss out on a murderously good night.
