UPCOMING EVENT: Veterans Tribute Service
When: Sunday, November 7th 10:00AM
Where: First United Methodist Church, 301 South Main St., Newark, NY (across from the Post Office)
What: Honoring Our Veterans
Veterans, active duty personnel, families and friends are invited to First United Methodist Church, 301 South Main Street, for a special service; Sunday, November 7th at 10am to honor our veterans and all who have sacrificed for our country.
GUEST SPEAKER: Ellen J. Warren, Vice President, Government & Community Relations, Veterans Outreach Center, will speak on the many VOC services available to veterans, and the many volunteer opportunities available to the community to assist them. The service will end with a special musical tribute to Vietnam veterans.
RECEPTION: Following the service you are invited to attend a fellowship reception in the dining room at 11:00AM to honor and thank veterans for their service. Ms. Warren will be available to answer questions. VOC literature will also be available.
Even if you are unable to attend the 10:00AM service please plan to attend the reception at 11:00AM to meet and honor our veterans.
