As part of the Lyons Public Library's adult summer reading club, Between the Covers, two bedroom comedy films will be shown this summer.
The first one, on Tues., July 10th at 7 p.m. stars Doris Day as interior decorator Jan Morrow and Rock Hudson as composer Brad Allen who share a phone line. Brad keeps the line occupied all day talking to his girlfriends, which annoys Jan terribly and animosity between them builds up. They finally meet and Hudson pretends to be someone else in order to add Day to his list of romantic conquests. While not musical, Day sings the title song, "Pillow Talk" and "Rolly-Polly".
