Traveling the Canal


Oct 22 - Ben Bruce and his dog Blue interrupted their trans-canal rowing adventure to stop at the Port of Palmyra for coffee and conversation with Bob Daly.  Ben, a former Marine, is in the employ of the Air Force and working in Afghanistan.  He and Blue, a beautifully behaved mixed breed puppy, are traveling the length of the canal. Ben is rowing the distance, standing up, a test of determination, skill and endurance. Their visit to Muddy Waters Cafe coincided with that of visitors from Pittsford and Ithaca to Historic Palmyra. Many, many photos were taken.
