Wayne County Council for the Arts and the Newark
Garden Club are pleased to present “DELIGHTFUL IMAGES” – an Art and Floral Tea .
We have come a long way from the
straight-laced Victorian tea times when tea etiquette was first established,
but we can still set aside our fast paced lives for a little bit of gentility. We don't know
anyone who doesn't love the opportunity to set aside a busy life to enjoy a cup
of tea, beautiful flowers, luscious treats, and a wonderful visit with friends.
A “Tea” will be served by Wayne Arts and the
Newark Garden Club members on Saturday, September 14th, 2013. There
will be two seating's (12:30 pm and 1:30 pm).
The menu will include hot and cold tea, lemonade, tea sandwiches, fruit
kabobs and cookies. Please call 315/331-4593 for reservations – limited
seating. Cost for the Tea will be $8.00
per person.
Along with the Wayne County Arts Exhibit by Neal McDannel , the Newark Garden Club members will be
making floral arrangements for each tea table which will be available for
purchase. Several unique “Gift Baskets”
will also be available through a raffle.
Tickets will be on sale during the month of September at the Gallery
with the drawing to be held on September 30th.
Established as a non-profit organization in 1977,
