Classes are appropriate for students ages 6-13 who are able to work for the entire class period. Younger students (ages 4-5) and students requiring assistance can attend if accompanied by an adult for duration of the class. We need advanced registration and notification for all students including those requiring special accommodations. Students may bring a snack and drink if they wish. Students can sign up per class or for the full week.

All classes are FREE and will be held at 108 W. Miller St, Newark, NY from 10:00-11:30

July 14–18 from 10-11:30 “Summer Sculpture Week”
Monday and Tuesday will feature Plaster wrap sculpture. Wednesday and Thursday will feature clay sculpture. Friday will feature paper sculpture and also give students extra time to finish their other sculptures. Students will be drawing, painting, sculpting, and assembling all week long.

August 4 –8 from 10-11:30 “Art Styles Week”
Experience many different methods to create art. Students will learn about Impressionism, Expressionism, Realism, Surrealism, and Abstract art. Not sure what these styles are about?

Sign up and have fun while finding out! Students will be working with a variety of materials, both two and three-dimensional.
