Wayne County Council for the Arts is pleased to present an exhibit showcasing work by students who have taken courses at Wayne Arts.  Work by teachers will also be on display.  This is the first time that an exhibit includes work from all the different visual arts courses that have been offered, and includes foundation drawing, oil painting, sculpture, figure drawing, printmaking and watercolor.

In the Chris Fayad Members’ Gallery, we are happy to present Lenaria Brondum.

Len’s work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and organizations throughout the Finger Lakes and Rochester, the New York area, as well as several locations across the nation including: Enamels exhibited at the Newark Museum, Newark, NJ and The 82nd Airborne Museum located at Fort Bragg.  Her paintings are on permanent display at The Citadel in South Carolina.  She exhibited in a one-person show at the World Trade Center of New Orleans and she has also won numerous awards.

Len’s work has been published in the following:  Complete book of Silk Painting by Diane Tuckman and Jan Janas, Silk Painting for Fashion and Fine Art by Susan L. Moyer, The Best of Silk Painting by Diane Tuckman and Jan Janas, Surface Design Journal.

She has been an adjunct lecturer at the Rochester Institute of Technology and at national silk painting conferences.  Len has been actively involved in solo and group exhibits while promoting the work of fellow artists by offering stimulating workshops at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester.  She has been an active member of The Rochester Art Club for over 20 years and a member of the North East Enamel Guild for 15 years.  She was also the featured artist for a month on the “Grains of Glass” website.

Len has been designated as a Master Silk Painter by SPIN, the International Silk Painters Organization.
