Newark, N.Y. – The Newark Pilots have announced the return of two more players from last year’s
Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) finalist team for the summer of 2015.

Logan Boyher from the July 26, 2014 contest against
the Elmira Pioneers at Colburn Park in Newark, N.Y.
Junior catcher/outfielder Logan Boyher from Columbia University will rejoin junior pitcher Daniel Imbro from Hendrix College at the historic Colburn Park for a second summer season.

Boyher was part of a catching platoon for the Pilots in 2014, making 18 of his 29 starts behind the plate and another nine in the outfield. He scored 23 runs off of 18 hits and 20 walks, second most on the team. After spending time at catcher, designated hitter, first base and outfield in 2014, the Chesterfield, Mo., native will likely be the primary catcher at Division I Columbia as the only returning upperclassman at the position. He has amassed a career .253 batting average in two seasons with the Lions, who set a program record for wins in a season while capturing their 12th Ivy League Championship in 2014.

Hailing from Little Rock, Ark., Imbro’s 12 relief appearances were the second most on the Pilots last
summer, and six of those outings were scoreless. He amassed 2.2 innings and three strikeouts in three
games against the eventual league champions, the Amsterdam Mohawks. The 5-10 righty struck out a
season-high three batters against Adirondack on June 28, 2014. Imbro recorded a 3.56 ERA in 14
games last spring for Hendrix College, fanning 20 while earning a pair of saves in 30.1 innings as the
Warriors set a program record for wins in a season.

The Newark Pilots begin their fifth season of play at Colburn Park in June of 2015.
